All classrooms including the media center, music room, art room, and gym have been designated as "NUT FREE." This means that no snacks containing any kind of peanuts or tree nuts will be allowed. Students may eat tree nuts in the lunchroom only. There are no peanuts allowed anywhere in the school or on school grounds.

All staff will receive education and information on specific allergies of Oak Ridge students along with procedures for addressing allergic reactions. Each staff is trained in signs of an anaphylactic reaction as well as how to administer epinephrine auto injectors.

New child identified bags with their specific allergy medications are readily accessible to staff in the school office. If your child is in need of a kit, please see the front office. 

There is a table available for any children who have various food allergies in the lunchroom.
